May 27, 2022 - UMW Newsletter
Hello United Museum Workers!
It’s almost time to vote.
We will elect two new members to our Bargaining Committee using the virtual service OpaVote on Tuesday, May 31st, 2022 from 12:01am to 11:59pm. You can learn more about the candidates by visiting our website.
Look out for your electronic ballot!
You should receive your ballot in an email from OpaVote at 12:01am on Tuesday, May 31. The link can only be used once and will remain active until the polls close at 11:59pm that day. The e-ballot will go to your personal email address, not your work email. If you do not receive an e-ballot in your primary inbox, be sure to check your spam or promotions folders. Using the link, cast your anonymous vote for two of our fellow United Museum Workers to represent us at the bargaining table.
Everyone’s voice is vital!
All of you can assist our Bargaining Committee and Contract Action Team by checking in with your coworkers, making sure they’re aware of this upcoming election and receiving our emails. Do you know someone who hasn’t been getting our newsletters and bargaining updates? Help us get in touch by writing to unitedmuseumworkers.usw@gmail.com. To truly advocate for each other we must ensure that the voices of all of our members are heard!
Questions? Ideas? We want to hear from you! Write to us at unitedmuseumworkers.usw@gmail.com. Our strength as a union lies in our transparent communication and shared experience. Let’s chat!
