Everyone in the United Museum Workers is invited to the next meeting of our amalgamated local union on Wednesday, July 19th, 6:30pm-8:30pm on the 4th floor of USW Headquarters at 60 Blvd of the Allies in Downtown Pittsburgh. In-person attendance is encouraged, but you can also join via Zoom. Meet your fellow local members, ask questions about what it means to be a part of this local, learn more about upcoming union activities, and make your voice heard!

Victory Party Planning
To celebrate winning our first contract, the United Museum Workers will host a Victory Party this September! Jim Kappas, former member of the Bargaining Committee and current UMW Secretary, has started organizing the event and would love some help! If you would like to assist with party planning, email Jim at [email protected].
We Still Need Membership Cards
Now that we have ratified our union contract, everyone needs to sign a union card in order to attend union meetings and participate in the decision-making process. If you haven’t signed a card yet, you can still do so! Attend the next general meeting in person, ask a coworker that’s involved with the union, or email [email protected].
