MARCH 6, 2023 - Important Education Sessions Coming Soon
Hello United Museum Workers!
Be prepared!
CMP management continues to make wage and benefit proposals well short of what we deserve. It’s time to educate ourselves about all of the tactics that are available to us to win a fair contract.
Join us for a USW Strike Education Session on Sunday, March 12th, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at USW Headquarters, 60 Blvd of the Allies, 15222.
Attendees are encouraged to wear masks. Street parking in Downtown Pittsburgh is free on Sundays.
We will also host a virtual USW Strike Education Session on Tuesday, March 14th from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Email mgulish@usw.org to request the Zoom link.
These sessions will cover:
Both sessions will cover the same information, so you only need to attend one.
Union Membership Cards
Remember, if you are in the bargaining unit, you should sign a card. The process is simple and members of the CAT will be available to answer your questions.
Signing this card gives you a voice in our union, and therefore in our workplace. A membership card empowers you to vote on contracts, attend meetings, elect officers, and more! This also shows CMP management how strong and united we are!
Have you signed your card yet? If not, get in touch with your CAT coordinator! They are here to help you sign your card, get a shiny new button, and stay up-to-date with the latest opportunities to get involved.
Save the date!
Join us at our next general meeting on Tuesday, March 21st. More details to come!
In case you missed it…
In the last few bargaining sessions, our Bargaining Committee presented a new economic counterproposal and reached three tentative agreements. Check out the details in the latest bargaining update.
Questions? Ideas? We want to hear from you! Write to us at unitedmuseumworkers.usw@gmail.com. Our strength as a union lies in our transparent communication and shared experience. Let’s chat!
