MARCH 31, 2023
Hello United Museum Workers,
Yesterday we met with CMP and they presented a new wage proposal that includes a revised wage grid, the first of its kind. As with their last proposal, it brings our lowest paid members to $16 per hour, and claims to address the issues of compression for everyone else. We will take the next few days to review these documents and we will meet with CMP next week on April 5th.
Save the date of April 11th when we will be holding a membership meeting to review CMP’s latest proposals and vote on them. Once again, the meeting will take place at the USW Building downtown. A zoom option will be provided for bargaining unit members unable to attend the meeting in-person, who have previously signed cards.
If you haven’t been to a meeting yet, this is the one to attend!
In Solidarity,
The United Museum Workers Bargaining Committee
